Identifying Fake News

The internet is full of fake news, which some goes viral. To know how to identify fake news, read these tips below:

1. Look carefully at the image or news article. Is there anything suspicious? - such as misspelt words or in-appropriate language.

2. Check where it came from - Reliable sources like the BBC and Sky News would be reliable, but you should not trust random people on the internet.

3. Double check before believing or sharing the news with others - across the internet and face-to-face.
