UPDATE: Rule of 6 enforced by Goverment
9 September 2020, 15:38:53
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has enforced new coronavirus rules. From the upcoming Monday, people may only meet in groups of up to 6.
The government is setting the new rules as a precaution of the rising coronavirus cases. On Sunday, 2,988 cases were recorded in the UK and a general rise of cases from August.
However, these new rules do not apply for children and teachers at school, work offices or people in the same support bubble. The police force may fine people £100 if they disobey the rules.
Boris Johnson has also increased the amount of testing capacity. The Prime Minister is trying to avoid another UK national lockdown and says these new rules are not a lockdown.
